Sweet corn pulao- Made with Fortue rice bran Oil


Ingredients For- Sweet corn and Nutrela Pulav

1 cup  Rice
1&1/2 cups  Corn
1/2 cup Nutrela Nugget
1 large  Onion
1  Bay leaf
1/4 inch piece Cinnamon
2  Cloves
2 cups Water
3 table spoon- Fortune Rice Bran Oil

To grind:
10  Cashewnuts
1 Tomato
1/4 inch Ginger
4 pods  Garlic
1/2 cup Coriander leaves
3 Green chillies
1 tsp Garam masala
1/4 inch piece Cinnamon
2 Cloves
Directions

1.Cook corn and keep it aside.
2.Wash rice and soak in water for a while.
3.Slice the onions into very thin slices.
4.Grind cashewnuts, tomato, ginger, garlic, coriander leaves, green chillies, garam masala, cinnamon and cloves together into a fine paste adding very little water to it.
5.Take 4 tsps of Fortune rice bran oil in a pressure pan and add the cinnamon, clove and bay leaf to it.
6.Saute for few seconds and add the onions to it.
7.Saute till they become transparent.
8.Now pour in the ground mixture and mix well for few mins. Strain the water away from the rice and add it to the pan along with cooked corn and nutrela nuggets.
9.Saute it for another few minutes.
10.Finally add salt and 2 cups of water to it and cook until 3 whistles.
11.Sweet corn pulao is ready to serve.
12.You can serve this along with onion raitha or potato chips
